Veronica Salazar Nicolas was born in 1957, and started the craft of hand embroidery through the influence of relatives and neighbors where she grew up, and is now her work and source of economic livelihood. This form of
embroidery is unique to her area.

There are 10 or 15 people in her group, who carry out activities of cutting, sewing, drawing designs and the hand embroidery.
