Born in a Zapotec town called San Martin Tilcajete, daughter of Zeny Fuentes and Reyna, she is the fourth generation in wood carving being born into a family of artists, she started painting at the age of 7 years old imitating her parents, nowadays she has her own style full of pastel and colorful colors which represent the harmony and joy of life.

Each of the pieces are unique and have a meaning related to the elements of the earth and the Zapotec culture.
