Micaela Santiz Díaz weaves at the crossroads of two renowned textile traditions. Born in San Andrés Larráinzar and now living in Aldama, she carries the knowledge of both communities, creating cotton textiles that reflect generations of shared heritage. Learned in childhood and refined through years of collaboration with the women of her family, her work honors the enduring artistry of Tsotsil weaving while celebrating the cultural ties that connect neighboring communities.
