Taller Manos Agustina is a family textile workshop from Teotitlán del Valle, Oaxaca, composed of twelve members of the same family who are dedicated to preserving the traditional techniques of Zapotec weaving. Representing the fifth generation of weavers, the workshop produces wool textiles woven on the pedal loom and dyed with natural pigments derived from plants and insects, many of which they cultivate or gather from their surrounding landscape. 

Inspired by the teachings of Mama Agustina, the members of the workshop work collectively to create rugs, textiles for accessories, and decorative pieces that combine pre-Hispanic motifs, archaeological imagery, and contemporary design. In addition to producing handmade textiles, the workshop actively shares its knowledge through educational workshops for children and young people, helping ensure that this rich textile tradition and its connection to the natural environment continue into future generations.
