Taller Artesanías is a workshop in San Lucas Evangelista created by Andrea Cocula and Marisol López, artisans of lapidaria, with the purpose of initiating a space for women to practice making molcajetes and metates.

The detail and quality of their products has made them very well known in the region. As well as the innovations of their pieces, they use basalt stone for new products, among their pieces you will find molcajetes in various designs, animal figures and prehispanic inspiration.

Their pieces have been exhibited in different fairs in Mexico as well as in Ciudad Juarez, Tijuana, Veracruz, Mérida, Torreón, Hermosillo, Monterrey and Guadalajara.
