Kip Tik (Nuestra Fuerza) is a group formed with the help of ATA (Aid to Artisans), a non-profit group who helps artisans train, organize, learn how to run a business, create new designs, and become self- sufficient. They help fund a project and leave after a few years.

The group Kip Tik worked with ATA starting in 2012 until May, 2015, and they are now on their own. An association of 350 women organized in 40 groups, they are from 11 different municipalities.

Kip Tik is headquartered in San Cristobal de las Casas, Chiapas. Their president is Cecilia Gómez  Díaz (Cecy) from Chonomyaqyilhó, San Andres Larrainzar (on left); their administrator is Margarita López Hernández from Nachig, Zinacantan (on right), and their designer is Guillermo Macias who stayed after ATA left. He also helps Cecy with their English speaking clients. María Cruz who comes from a remote Tzeltal village also helps out in the office as well as in the field.

The group continues using traditional designs. They have weavers using the back-strap loom and others doing embroidery. They also create new designs and have weavers who do work with the pedal loom.

Kip Tik produces modern pieces as well as traditional and work with businesses who would like to start clothing or linen lines. Their work is sold in fairs, special events, and to businesses from their San Cristóbal office.

They offer woven huipiles, embroidered blouses, as well as woven and embroidered modern blouses tablecloths, table runners, pillows and accessories.
