Originally from Metepec in the State of Mexico, Guillermo Camacho Rojas represents the fourth generation of a family dedicated to pottery. He began learning the craft as a child from his father, who passed down the knowledge and traditions of working with clay.

Today Guillermo leads the Camacho Rojas workshop, where large clay cazuelas and lead-free glazed ceramic pieces are produced. Working alongside his wife and an apprentice, he continues to preserve Metepec’s pottery traditions while sharing the craft with new generations.
